Dress for the Empress is a new women’s label on the fashion scene.
Created in 2011, the label is inspired by the 90s grunge kinder-whore look made famous by Hole front women Courtney Love, and Kat Bejelland from Babes in Toyland.
The label also draws inspiration from 1950s style clothing (think Bettie Page), and combing these two styles have created the Dress for the Empress signature look.
The Dress for the Empress collection is quite intimate and have a limited number of designs, to be assured the customers have their own individual sense of style.
The collection involves corseted swing dresses, bustiers embellished with bows and lace, a modern take on the classic 1950s style skirt with matching day bras as well as swimwear.
